Red trees

I had the chance to meet with a family of 3 young adults last Friday to take some great fall photos. In the process of taking these photos I found out that Miss "M" LOVES red fall trees. And right away I thought of this photo, I took this photo last fall in Squamish, BC and just had to post it for Miss "M". If you love this photo it will be available for purchace at the "1 stop Christmas shop" in Leduc on October 23rd. It's printed to be a 16x20 and will be sold framed.

2008 Grad

Just to give everyone an idea here is a photo that I took of a grad and his escort in '08. I have shot more and more young babies and families, and less grad and teens, But I love working with people that want their photos taken! Hee-Hee!

One H-O-T bike

I was asked to take this photo of a bike for a friend as he was trying to sell it. This is the result...! I think it turned out great!

Twins!

Being a natural light photographer has it challenges, when I went to photograph these two little ones the best light was being partly blocked by a great big tree! Challenging to say the least!

I had the great pleasure in photographing a set of two week old twins. How sweet! I was even able to hold them! (Must admit it made me want to have another baby, that is until they started to cry - then it was nice to pass them back to mom and dad!) ha-ha!

buttons!

I have taken up sewing (Like I need another hobby...) and I have an HUGE number of buttons. My kids love digging through them to find me a match... I thought I should take a few macro shots to show my collection!

Macro Mode

I have decided that in 2010 I will expand my photographic knowledge...here is my attempt at macro...

Fall In Squamish

I love fall - Okay, let me clairify, I amnot used to fall. Where I grew up, there was not much of a fall, I'm talking a few days between nice, warm (for the north) weather to snow in a few days. So I am taking this chance, being in this wonderful part of the country, to photograph as much of what I see around me...

Also, if you see a photo that you love, I have them available in canvas's in all shapes and sizes (signed by the photographer - hey! That's me!). FYI - There will be no watermark on the canvas'.

Here it is..... :0)

Pereman Family!

Fun Fun FUN! This was a wonderful and fun shoot for me. I know Nat and Andrew through one of my Hubby's co-workers and I'm so happy to have done this photo shoot for them! Miss P is just 3 months old and big sis Miss 'Mo' is 3 and a bit. I had a chance to shoot Miss P and mom and dad before Mo got back from the park with her Papa... When she got bad she decided that she didn't want any photos... But I got down on the ground and played right along with her... we played peek-a-boo and then copy cat and even a bit of gym class! :) I had as much fun as she did!

Thanks again guys for letting me into your home!

Joe, Christy, Chloe & Camryn & Puppies!

Alright, let's be honest, when you have a toddler they become the boss, but when you have two toddler (beautiful) little girls, they run the roost. This family was so much fun and a pleasure to work with. I hope that I am able to see these girls grow up (gotta love a small town!)!

Here is a peek of what came of a beautiful Saturday afternoon!

Going to the chapel and we are going to get married!

On August 27th, 2009 I had the honour to photograph a wedding of two very special people. They started out as clients, but soon, Steve and Kaelin became wonderful friends.

As promised, here is a sneak peek of some wedding photos. (As some of you may or may not know I am taking an on line photography course directed to wedding photos, so this is the result of my final assignment)

Hobo's

In all essences of the word, I love hobo's! I love the travelers aspect of it and I love the "don't know where I'm going" part of it. Here in Squamish there are a lot of trains that come out here (not used to that coming from Yellowknife).
Anyways, I took two beautiful little people out on the tracks and was able to capture some great (I think) photos... check it out!

Tatianna

I thought I would share a photo that I took today of one of my babies. Well, at 19 months, I guess I can't call her a baby anymore, but anyways, I will post a photo of my boy soon, but for now, I wanted to show you this new 'look' that I think I am loving! Let me know what you think!
