Baby Harlow

I had the pleasure of photographing baby Harlow today. I photographed mom Carrisa and daddy Kyle when Carrisa was pregnant at the begining of October and now I got to see who was hiding out in mommy! :) Harlow was nice, sleepy, warm and happy until we would move her but she did great! What a trooper!

Welcome baby Harlow!

So here is a little peak for you Shannon! Hope you like them!

Red trees

I had the chance to meet with a family of 3 young adults last Friday to take some great fall photos. In the process of taking these photos I found out that Miss "M" LOVES red fall trees. And right away I thought of this photo, I took this photo last fall in Squamish, BC and just had to post it for Miss "M". If you love this photo it will be available for purchace at the "1 stop Christmas shop" in Leduc on October 23rd. It's printed to be a 16x20 and will be sold framed.

A few more for the coates family

Michele had this image in mind and I think it turned out great!

Then Michele saw a previous photo that I had taken of my son's little toy truck thru some bushes and we wanted to try and do it with a bit of 'country' flair... I love the way it turned out!

And this next photo, to be quite honest, I want to get done as a sheer aluminum satin metal print for my home... I think it's just such a neat photo!

3 Generations

Michelle, I am SO sorry that these are so late, I had to clean out my hard drive before I could even up load them! (I took 1098 photos in 2 hours - you have to figgure that I took at least 2 for every pose/person combo - but you have quite the job ahead of you picking out just 15!) They all look great but I am only going to get a few up tonight! Make sure to check back tomorow after your done work, hopefully I'll have more up for you!

This was one of my favorite family photo shoots I've done in a long time! We laughed so much and everyone was so nice, and so inviting (I was actually invited in for supper after the shoot!)

Thanks for the many laughs and I'll get the money for the bushells of wheat I destroyed! (inside joke! :) )

Camping, Cows, and bears oh my!

My family spent September long weekend at my husbands Uncles farms. Uncle Ed and Auntie Phylis love their cows and name every one of them! Uncle has a thing for these cows eye lashes so I promised him I try and get a few shots!

Here a few for you Ed. I'll have some prints for you when we see eachother again on Saturday!

B & F Wedding

I have known this bride and goom since high school and was honered when they asked me to go to Yellowknife to photograph their wedding! It was a beautiful day with some great laughs, and some old memories shared.
Heres a few 'detail' shots of their big day!

Justyna & Jeremy Bump Photos

Or Anutie Tina and Uncle Jer as my kids call them. When we used to live in Yellowknife I met Justyna through a mutual friend and haven't lost touch even though we have moved twice since. Now being in Leduc allows us to see them more often! Its wonderful! And what else is wonderful is that they are expecting their first baby in October! I am so excitied and happy for them. When they came for a visit we headed out to Fred John park to get some baby Bump photos!

Here is a few of my favorites!

Trash the Dress

September Long weekend was a great weekend for me and my family! Not only did we go camping on my hubby's uncles farm, but I got to hand feed a cow, watch my daughter and husband collect fresh eggs for breakfast and I saw a bear. But I also got to photograph my first trash the dress session!

I photographed Kirbi & Toms wedding a few weeks ago and talked to her about doing a trash the dress session. She drove an hour to meet me at the farm (her grandpas farm). Now I feel the need to give you a bit of back ground as to why we did it this way. Kirbi basically grew up with mu hubby on this farm. Every weekend and every summer was spent doing farm chores, feeding cows, haying and tending to the chickens. Now this family calls me a city slicker because to them, doing these things on the summer vacation is normal! haha!

Anyways, here is a little peek for you Kirbi, hope you enjoy and thanks for a great afternoon full of laughs, stares and of course, swimming! :)
